Happy Halloween

Our weekend was so busy I barely got a pug nap.
Busy or not, mom still had time to humiliate us in Halloween costumes.

Lincoln looks like a stuffed animal.
He didn't mind his costume too much.

I struggled a little bit with my costume.
I couldn't see with that monkey hood on my head
So I kept looking down which only made mom giggle.

I don't know why I couldn't be an awesome animal
like a ferocious lion.
Mom thinks a monkey is much more fitting.

My Cheesy Birthday

So the best part of my birthday was my very first cheeseburger.
I could smell it a mile away....

I tried to wait patiently but Mom was taking forever

Don't worry, Lincoln got one too.
Mom was too busy around his gotcha day so it was a double celebration.

It seriously took Mom forever to unwrap it.
I would totally have eaten the wrapper.

Look at how yummy that looks!

Get in my belly!
That burger is almost as big as me!

It was gone in a jiffy.

I burped for fifteen minutes afterward.
So good.

I wish everyday was my birthday.
So does Lincoln.

Happy Birthday to me.
I'm 2.
I'm sitting up on top of this counter
because I attacked Lincoln
when he tried to play with my new cupcake toy.
I shouldn't have to share on my birthday.

Guard Dog

I'm an excellent guard dog.
I can sit outside without a leash
And just watch the world go by.
Sometimes I really want to go greet people
on the sidewalk.
But I try hard.
Harder than Minnie ever would.
Minnie gets distracted by the falling leaves.
Not me.
