Finally she figured out that if she stood on one side and called for him, he would do it. Here's the proof...who knew Lincoln was an agility pug. He sails over the gate. It's so unfair, I couldn't jump the baby gate if my life depended on it.
A blog about a very girlie pug named Minnie Moo, her brother Lincoln and all of their adventures.

Lincoln the jumper
So Mom uses baby gates all over the apartment to keep Lincoln and little ole me out of trouble. These gates are a constant annoyance when I get in trouble and have to be put on the other side of the gate. The gates always go up when Mom leaves for work too. A couple of weeks ago, Mom started noticing something odd. When she would get home from work, Lincoln would greet her at the back door. However, the gate was still up. She suspected he was jumping the gate but she couldn't figure out how. After all he is a pug. So she kept trying to catch him jumping the baby gate. But she never could, he was always just waiting on the other side.

Bling Bling
Remember when I was telling you that Walden Photography took our picture to raise dog food for homeless dogs? I forgot to mention that Grandma bought us "bling bling" collars for the occasion. With our names on them. Like anyone could forget when Mom is constantly yelling, "Minnie, stop chewing on that" or "Minnie, get off the table" or my personal favorite, "Minnifred Moo, don't eat that!" Oh well at least when Mom kicks me out, I can become a professional model.
Yeah and on a side note, Lincoln just posed that way. No one encouraged him. I'd roll my eyes if I could but its hard enough to get them both to face the same direction.
Sincerely,
Minnie Moo

To Grandma's house we go
It's a true story that our mama is in New Orleans and we are hanging out at Grandma's house for the week. So all we have is some pictures from Grandma's house....
Lincoln supposedly is being a good boy, laying in his bed per usual.
Minnie on the other hand is loving some Betty Johnson pjs as her new bed.
Grandma is spoiling us so much that we don't even miss our Mama. Who is Mama?!
Muah,
Minnie Moo and Lincoln too

A Progression of Pug Picture Taking
Mom always says it's hard to get a good picture. To illustrate the process of trying to get a picture with two pugs...scroll down.
I'm fascinated with the ruffle on my skirt, I'm not sure this outfit fits anymore either...

Give up already Mom, there's no way to make us all look the same direction at the same time...better luck next time

Lincoln Facts
- He spoons with Mom every night
- He knows "sit" and "leave it". He learned "sit" and he came with "leave it"
- He never fights back, even when Minnie attacks him
- His favorite game is tug-a-war or fetch
- The beach is his favorite place, he has to be dragged and carried out, crying the entire time
- At the dog park or beach, he finds a human that will throw a ball. He doesn't want the ball, he just wants to run after it and run back.
- He has never met a dog or person he didn't immediately love
- His wants his belly rubbed every morning
- He has bad skin allergies, he's pretty much allergic to grass
- He waits outside the bathroom for Mom to get out of the shower everyday
- His nickname is "co-pilot" because he has to be upfront, on top of the driver and next to the steering wheel.
- When he sees his grandpa or grandma, he has a panic attack of excitement every time
And lastly, he's a very good boy :)

Rain
Dear fellow comrades,
This is a call to action. It's been raining forever. I can't remember when I last saw sunshine. The thing about rain is, I don't like it. I don't like my little paws to be wet. Or my head. Or any part of me. And those things they call puddles, that seem like bottomless pools of danger? Yeah, I reserve the right to be carried across those. In fact, on any given rainy day in Kentucky, expect to see Mom walking Lincoln, carrying an umbrella with one hand and with the other hand, holding the princess (a.k.a me). People do stop and stare, asking if I'm a "diva." Isn't it obvious?
Mom spouts off some nonsense about how rain or shine, the pugs must be walked. Maybe Lincoln needs to be walked in freezing rain, he enjoys going potty outside. But for me, I would prefer to do my business inside, where it's warm and not raining. Who cares if this gets me yelled at, I don't see Mom going outside to potty. Can she really ask something of me that she refuses to do?! I think not.
Hopefully, I have some followers.
Sincerely,
Minnie Moo

Silverback Pug
Lincoln here. Someone with ten (yes, ten) pugs saw my picture and called me a "silver back" pug. People are always commenting on how long legged I am and what a great pug nose I have. I know I'm not tiny or have to mouth breathe like Minnie...but what is a silver back?! I can't find anything on Google about silver back pugs. Google talks about silver back gorillas but they are alpha males with gray fur and I'm no alpha with gray fur. I'm definitely a lover, not a fighter. Mama says to not worry, that I'm perfect and "evolved." I'm really wondering though if anyone knows what a silver back pug is and if I am one...

America's Next Top Pug
For a fundraiser event to feed dogs at two local shelters, Mom and Grandma took us to get our picture taken. Everyone said Lincoln was a natural. However, as evidenced in the picture below...who has her tail curled perfectly? Um, me. Who is showing the dog clothes the best...um me again. All Lincoln is sporting is some pug neck "pudge." (Try to say that five times fast) He has definitely lost his homeless dog look.
I don't want to brag but if there was an America's Next Top Model Pug edition, I might win.
