"Mickey" and Minnie

Grandma went to Florida and all we got were these outfits.
Well that's a small lie, we got some Disney toys too.

I don't know why everyone keeps saying Minnie has a "Minnie" dress on...

Of course it's a Minnie dress

And my shirt is a "Lincoln" shirt.

What? It's a Mickey shirt? Who the heck is this Mickey character?

Minnie says Mickey might be the big mouse that keeps getting us in trouble...

Love,
Lincoln

Rain

Dear fellow comrades,

This is a call to action. It's been raining forever. I can't remember when I last saw sunshine. The thing about rain is, I don't like it. I don't like my little paws to be wet. Or my head. Or any part of me. And those things they call puddles, that seem like bottomless pools of danger? Yeah, I reserve the right to be carried across those. In fact, on any given rainy day in Kentucky, expect to see Mom walking Lincoln, carrying an umbrella with one hand and with the other hand, holding the princess (a.k.a me). People do stop and stare, asking if I'm a "diva." Isn't it obvious?

Mom spouts off some nonsense about how rain or shine, the pugs must be walked. Maybe Lincoln needs to be walked in freezing rain, he enjoys going potty outside. But for me, I would prefer to do my business inside, where it's warm and not raining. Who cares if this gets me yelled at, I don't see Mom going outside to potty. Can she really ask something of me that she refuses to do?! I think not.

Hopefully, I have some followers.

Sincerely,

Minnie Moo

Silverback Pug

Lincoln here. Someone with ten (yes, ten) pugs saw my picture and called me a "silver back" pug. People are always commenting on how long legged I am and what a great pug nose I have. I know I'm not tiny or have to mouth breathe like Minnie...but what is a silver back?! I can't find anything on Google about silver back pugs. Google talks about silver back gorillas but they are alpha males with gray fur and I'm no alpha with gray fur. I'm definitely a lover, not a fighter. Mama says to not worry, that I'm perfect and "evolved." I'm really wondering though if anyone knows what a silver back pug is and if I am one...

America's Next Top Pug

For a fundraiser event to feed dogs at two local shelters, Mom and Grandma took us to get our picture taken. Everyone said Lincoln was a natural. However, as evidenced in the picture below...who has her tail curled perfectly? Um, me. Who is showing the dog clothes the best...um me again. All Lincoln is sporting is some pug neck "pudge." (Try to say that five times fast) He has definitely lost his homeless dog look.

I don't want to brag but if there was an America's Next Top Model Pug edition, I might win.

Maybe this is why Kitty and Coco awarded us the Stylish blog award...

Thanks guys! We would like to humbly pass it on to:
