Minniehaha Park

We promise to eventually get around to our new house and yard but for now....

We would like to share this awesome park we went to while we were still in Minnesota. It was awesome mainly because it was called "Minniehaha" which kept confusing me every time I would hear it. I believe some tribal Indian warrior must have had a similar name to mine. But I digress.

It was also awesome because Mom had to pull a "Minnie" move in which she had to bat her eyelashes and look as innocent as possible when the park cop asked for our dog permit. She assured him that we were simple country folk from Kentucky who had never heard of such a thing!

The dog park was a huge 75 acre, right on the Mississippi off the leash space. Lincoln and I were not allowed off of our leashes because we had a plane to catch later and Mom didn't want us getting dirty or lost.

I also was able to see my first ever waterfall and eat outside in a plastic bowl before catching a flight out.

I felt very much like a movie star pug with a stinky brother.

  1. Hmmm, permits for parks? Not needed her, thank goodness!! Maybe it helps to keep the parts so pretty? Glad your home safe and sound! Minniehaha...hahahaha

  2. I think maybe they named the park after you :)

Does Lincoln know you think he's stinky? Does he care?? Bahah!

    Smooches xoxo

  3. What a nice way to say goodbye to the city...a fun day at the park! It looks like a great place to explore. Can't wait to see pictures of your new digs at home! I'm not sure you guys could get any cuter in that last photo!

  4. Oh look at that waterfall! I would like to jump right in it! We love the last picture of you and your brother posing like little angels. I know the truth though!

  5. Hi Minnie & Linky,

    Minniehaha...heheee, snort.

The park looks fabulous. Thank goodness batting eyelashes can come in handy.

  6. looks like a great adventure

  7. Looks like you guys had a great time there. I'm glad you two didn't get taken to pug jail by the dog park police (I hear there are NO treats in pug jail...a chilling thought!). Minnie, you look do look like a movie star in that photo by the waterfall. Your plaid harnesses are really cool (are they new?)! I need to get my parents to me a cool looking one like that. -Love, Sid.

  8. Oh wow...a WHOLE PARK named after your Pugcestor!!! So cool! needs to know....HOW do you guys fly on the plane??? Lincoln looks too big to fly under the seat, so do you have service tags to sit with mom or what????

  9. What a nice time you must have had at the park with your people and each other:)

Mocha Barney, Ashley Pumpernickel and Winniechurchill

  10. Hmmm, you have to have a permit to be a dog??! That's a new one :) Looks like you had a blast! You should have just told that cop that it was YOUR park - after all it was named after YOU! Did you ask to see his COP permit? BOL!
