Swimming with Lincoln

So if you remember I've been to Florida before and became an expert swimmer. Everyone thought that Lincoln would love swimming too. So first we suited up...I, of course, rocked the pink life jacket.

Lincoln was mildly humiliated by his faux Louis Vuitton life jacket vest. I think he thought it was a little girly for manly taste.

I got in the hot tub first to show Lincoln how easy it was.

Obviously, I have some skills in pool...

Lincoln was still a little nervous...

Once we were both in, Lincoln realized he didn't know how to swim. His front paws were doggy paddling, his back ones became paralyzed with fear.

He got really scared and even almost pushed me under in his attempt to get out. When Uncle Travis tried to calm him down, Lincoln accidentally scratched his chest.

So I guess Lincoln isn't going to become an Olympic swimmer like me. Oh well. Maybe he will get used to the idea over the next month.

Here I am posing with my mommy.

A Very Puggy Christmas

Greetings from Florida. Lincoln made it in his carrier with the help of a few drugs and several people stuffing him in. He did okay as long as he kept one eye on Mom. Of course I didn't need the drugs or the extra help, I love my carrier.

Before we left for Florida, we had Christmas at Grandma's Kentucky house. Here I am with my Uncle Travis...

Lincoln and I helped open all gifts.

Without us, I'm not sure Uncle Travis or Mom could have opened anything.

We were very tired after opening so many gifts.

Family picture with Uncle Travis and Mom.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.

At first I wondered what this strange thing magical ball was...

A snow globe, what's that? Never mind, it's beautiful...

It's singing to me...

Please don't stop...

It stopped, someone make it sing to me again

Please?

OMG, this is all I want for Christmas

Forever home + Ears = Santa

Forever homes involve taking Christmas pictures with your little sister.

In humiliating reindeer ears

It's all worth it though, Santa will be able to find me this year in my forever home. It's hard for Santa to find you when you don't have a home. I will wear these ears all year around for a forever home and Santa.

Love,
Lincoln

Santa's Little Helper

I don't have pointed ears like most elves...
And it was hard to convince me to sit in the sleigh for a picture

But Mom says I'm Santa's little helper so you all better be good.

Flashback Friday- First Coat

When I first came to live with Mom, it was really cold outside. Not as cold as it is now but cold. From day one I never liked the cold weather so my Grandma bought me a warm purple coat.

***Warning, these pictures of me in my first coat will make you want to go out and adopt a pug princess puppy immediately.***

A pretty princess in a purple coat.

I'm laughing.

As a baby, my eyes always looked blue.

Christmas Gift

So Lincoln and I did a gift exchange. We received our present yesterday in the mail from Nova who is a big dog. Mama says he's a Great Dane but personally I think he might be a horse. Or pony. Maybe Nova could be the pony that Josie has been asking Santa Paws for...hmmm...

Anyway, I love presents. The biggest problem with presents are the lack of the thumbs. Thankfully, we were at Grandma's so she assisted us...

OMG, look at all of this loot. (Everyone keeps asking about our harnesses...Mom can't read the name on them but she got them at IncrediPet, Lincoln's has awesome gators on it and if you could see mine, it has owls...)

Lincoln, we've totally hit jackpot. (and yes I'm wearing a sweater with Pom Poms, it's really cold outside)

Um, Lincoln you have to share...it has both of our names on the box. Don't make me start a game of bitey face right here and now, you know I dominate.

Hmmm, I'm keeping an eye on you Lincoln...

Fine, I'm just going to claim some of these toys right now.

Hehe, I will hide it over here....

Those chewy things look interesting.

I really hate that Mom has these rules about "only one treat at a time" or "one treat per pug.."

Thanks Nova. You're the bestest.
