Ant Traps

You know what tastes fantastic?

Ant traps.
I ate part of one over the weekend.
Someone was watching me while Mom ran out to get some food for 30 minutes.
It's amazing what you can get into in 30 minutes.

Gave my mom another heart attack.
Amazingly I had no side effects.
Those warning labels on things are obviously B.S.

Mom would like me to add a disclaimer that no pug, animal, child or adult should ever try this at home. And that I was lucky.

I lay on the discarded sheets, chewing my dinosaur bone while my bed is prepared...

And Lincoln helps.

How to take a Minnie Picture

This is a short video of how Mom tries to get my attention for pictures. In fact, Mom thought she was taking my picture, not taking a video. She's a little slow on the ipad technology.

In the video, you can clearly see how she uses mind games, asking me if I want to go to the park and stuff. I have to look at her then!

Lincoln is my best friend.
He let's me be the Alpha dog in our little pack even though I'm a girl.
Google says alpha means I'm courageous, driven, competitive and have a "take charge" attitude.
Girl dogs can be Alphas too.

Bored and hungry

My mom wants me to start this post off by saying even though I didn't die eating the silica gel, no one else should try it. Supposedly, my mom has a lot of heart attacks over the things I put in my mouth. Google has been especially helpful in deciding whether I simply get yelled at or whether we make a trip to the vet. In my defense, only Lincoln has had to go to the vet over eating.

However, Lincoln tends to just eat just "food" products. (Except I did see him start chewing on an empty White Castle bag we found on our walk the other day...) So I guess Lincoln just chews on things that at least smell like food. I eat pretty much anything that I can figure out how to swallow. Everything in our small apartment is on the top shelf, there are baby gates everywhere and no doors can be left open at anytime. Our apartment has become "Minnie proof" which equals no fun. I've been left with few choices except to start exploring things such as shoe boxes for treats.

I'm bored and hungry.

Silica Gel

Guess what we discovered this weekend?

Contrary to popular belief, silica gel found in shoe boxes is NOT poisonous to small pugs.

Wonder how we discovered that?

Not that I'm advocating eating a pack of those little beads next time you get a new pair of shoes...

The spot

Wanna know what we did the whole time we were in Florida?
We sat on this great couch.

This perfect couch is outside with lots and lots of pillows. Best of all, its in the shade, with a fan overhead. Since it's outside, I can keep an eye on the pool, the pond, potential lizards and people walking by.

Minnie and I pretty much spent all of our time sleeping outside, in the shade on this couch. It was the "spot."
