Sunday Bribes

On any given Sunday, Mom has to do homework for her PhD. It's pretty boring stuff to Lincoln and I. It is also pretty hard to sit still and let Mom do her homework. Hello, if she's home, shouldn't she be petting, adoring and playing with us?! This entails in many failed or successful attempts to jump in her lap, step on her computer, chew on her books or distract her in general from completing homework in a timely manner.

Thus, much to the happiness of Lincoln and I, we get bribed...with bully sticks. Which Mom says is like "pug crack." Case in point:

  1. Oh yeah, bully trumps humans every time. I like to say I'd leave 'em for a hamburger.

  2. Ooooo....LOVE bully sticks!
You guys are soooo cuuuute working on those :o)

Totally agree with you on the subject.
We do the same at my house; whenever our Mommy is in the office which is a LOT when she is home, we each have our own ways to distract her.
My Sis is yelling for food, my Bro whimpers for God knows what (he is really the Big Baby of the house) and myself, yell at everything moving on the street from my lookout window.
    Awww... life is good!

  6. That's exactly what we do when mom is doing her homework or reading yet another book. This PhD thing better pay off. But at least we get bully sticks and other stuff. Now, if we could just find something that Tallulah won't swallow whole, we would be good to go.

Good luck to your mom! Ours is still trying to finish this book she's got to write a paper on by Wednesday.

  7. Our cats and our coonhound do the same thing when their owners are trying to get things accomplished around the house too! They follow us, stare at us, bark or meow, etc, until we finally give them something to distract them until we get a free minute! Love the pics of the puggies chewing on their bully sticks!

  9. BOL! WE just had a bully stick a little bit ago when the computer guy came over here...Mommy said we needed to be out of the way and quiet. Turns out those bully sticks are also "crack" for beagles and puggles!
