A pound


I had to go to the vet this past week.
I've gained a pound.
Mama is calling me a "chubby bunny."
I'm a whooping 13 pounds now.
Excuse me, but that still puts me on the small scale of being a pug.
And seriously...
it's not my fault that Lincoln has the metabolism of a greyhound.

    Oh Minnie, a pound really doesn't seem like all that much - and it gives your mama just a little bit more of you to love!

    WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! How come your momma calls you Chubby Bunny at 13 pounds and my momma calls me Skinny Minnie at 13 pounds????? Something's not right here!! I think we should go with my momma's opinion, that way we both get extra treats!!

    Minnie I think you are a perfect pug size. Petite and not at all bony!!! Well, any healthy weight is a perfect pug size. I weigh 14.5 pounds. I have a waistline and very adorable folds. Any more weight or less weight would take away from my PUGness.
    And I am beginning to wonder about Lincoln. He is NOT normal.

    Did you tell them to wait and weigh you after you pee ... that what mama always says when she is on a diet. Never step on the scale until you pee. OF course, 13 pounds is nothing compared to us. Liberty is the smallest at 18 pounds. Pug Hugs, Zoe, Peyton, Webster and Liberty

    Oww Minnie Moo I feel the same way, your beautiful just the way you are but the vet got me on a diet too! I am 11kg and only supposed to be 9kg - pugs are not made to be petite they are supposed to be big and snuggly to hug! Love and pHUGS Frank x x x x
