Lightening Bugs

Has anyone else noticed these lightening bugs?
Mom can barely get Lincoln and I to walk at night
because we wanna chase down these new friends.
Except anytime we get close, they disappear only to reappear a couple of feet away.
It might be my new favorite game.
I think Lincoln loves them too.
Mom wishes we would just walk and do our business though.
Sounds like someone needs to stop and chase some lightening bugs. (Hello, MOM!)
Makes the walking much better if you ask me.

Muah,

Minnie Moo

  1. Those are funny bugs! One landed on my nose and kept lighting up, but mom swatted it cause she didn't want me to lick it. Moms can be such mood killers sometimes, huh?

  2. My Peyton tries to eat them. He even jumps up trying to catch them ... silly 'ole boy! Tell your mom to catch some and put them in a jar. It is so fun to watch them light up. Then when you are done you can release them! Pug Hugs, Ellen

  4. Sigh,
We don't have any such critter in California! I can't imagine how much fun they would be to chase.

  5. The other three pugs never paid any attention, but my seven month old Bubba is just fascinated by them. He ate one the other night.
    Is that wrong!
